February 2015 Meeting

For our popular February meeting we will be having a show and tell of our Secret Valentines. In December we draw names out of a hat and make that person a valentine's day gift, typically quilted, but sometimes other crafty stuff. The secret valentine has to deliver the gift to the recipient before the meeting - while trying to keep their identity a secret. At the meeting each person brings their gift and tells the story of the delivery of the gift, then gets to find out who their secret valentine is. It's a great time finding out what poor husbands and children were enlisted in the delivery, and seeing the beautiful work of our members.

Welcome to Our Website

The Thimble Pleasures Quilt Guild was founded by eight dedicated quilters on a snowy night in Mendon, Massachusetts in January 1992. Today the guild has a membership of 75 women. Our goals are to promote interest in all aspects of quilt making, to encourage members to develop skills and display their work, to educate the community in the art of quilt making and to share our gifts with people in need.
