Sweet Dreams - at Our Quilt Show

We have chosen to support the Bereaved Parents USA at this year's quilt show.   BP/USA is a non-profit self-help group offering support, education,  encouragement and hope to parents, grandparents and siblings after the death of a child.  They are a national organization with local chapters.  The nearest chapter is in Sturbridge, MA.  There are no paid salaries within the organization.  They are supported solely by volunteer donations.  There are no dues or  fees charged to members as they have already paid the ultimate price to belong.  We chose to support this organization in memory of all who have lost someone dear to them.  We will have a special exhibit entitled "Sweet Dreams" at our biennial Thimble Pleasures Quilt Guild Quilt Show .  Our members have made pillowcases to be sold as pairs or singles with all profits going to Bereaved Parents.  Pillowcases represent to us comfort and sweet dreams.  We also have a quilt with a butterfly motif that will be silent auctioned to the highest bidder.  The logo for the Bereaved Parents is a butterfly rising from an outstretched hand.  We welcome you to our Quilt Show, and hope you will support us in our "Sweet Dreams".

Welcome to Our Website

The Thimble Pleasures Quilt Guild was founded by eight dedicated quilters on a snowy night in Mendon, Massachusetts in January 1992. Today the guild has a membership of 75 women. Our goals are to promote interest in all aspects of quilt making, to encourage members to develop skills and display their work, to educate the community in the art of quilt making and to share our gifts with people in need.
